YOU can help raise money for people affected by cancer at the Nightingale Community Hospice Trust's annual fete today.
The fete will take place at Chace Community School, in Churchbury Lane, Enfield between noon and 4pm.
Volunteer organiser, Marian Messenger, said the fete was one of the year's major sources of funding as the hospice operates completely by donations.
She added: “It will be a traditional summer fair, we've got coconut shies, splat the rat, stalls and refreshments.”
Winners in the Lavender School centenary art competition will be announced.
Enfield Football Club will be visiting to run a goal-scoring stall and for the less active, there is a Pimms tent with beer.
Entry is 50p for anyone over 11.
