TWO people charged with murdering an Enfield businessman and scattering his body parts across two counties have been remanded in custody until October.
Stephen Marshall, 37, of Ayot Path, Borehamwood, and Sarah Bush, 20, of Fernwood Court, Pickard Close, Southgate, are alleged to have murdered Jeffrey Howe between March 7 and March 22 this year.
The couple appeared at St Albans Crown Court this morning via video link, while held in custody, for a short hearing in front of Judge Michael Baker. They did not enter a plea.
Judge Baker adjourned proceedings until the week of October 19.
The two are accused of killing Mr Howe and scattering his body parts across Hertfordshire and Leicestershire.
Part of Mr Howe's arm was discovered on Nomansland Common, in Wheathampstead. His hands have not been found.
