PEOPLE looking for top tips on improving their employment chances can now register for a special event next week.
Advice on accessing free training, CV writing, job searching and how to give a killer interview are among the topics covered.
A workshop on how to manage your money will also take place information about benefits which are available to those who work.
There is a free lunch from noon, and refreshments throughout the day.
The council's cabinet member for employment, Cllr Michael Lavender, said: “This event gives really important advice for anyone who is trying to find employment in these current difficult economic conditions.
“Whether you want to know more about how to write an effective CV, or give a good interview, this is the best place to find out more.”
