ARTISTS as young as six will have their art publicly displayed at a public gallery in Edmonton.

The collection is a culmination of an entire year's work from all ages of Churchfield Primary school pupils, and ranges from paintings and charcoal drawings to sculptures and fabric dolls.

Mario Lopez-Goicoechea, Community Education Coordinator at the school said: “The children have been making cushions and toys, using Roman numbers and the roman calendar as well as painting banners depicting various Roman battles. The children can't get enough of it.”

Churchfield’s head teacher, Adrian Hall, said ‘The children have produced some amazing pieces of artwork this year that they are very proud of. I am very much looking forward to the exhibition and celebrating the achievements of the children at Churchfield.”

The exhibition will run throughout the summer from Monday July 13, on weekdays for 10am – 4pm in Gallery Fore, Fore Street. Admission is free.
