SERIOUS fun – with local information and displays – is on offer in a police-organised day out in Jubilee Park.
Fun events will include a schools football competition, on one of the park’s six football pitches, coaching sessions from Tottenham Hotspurs football club, and a climbing wall.
People can also watch displays from the local Air Training Corps and Sea Cadets.
The idea is also for residents to meet with their local police Safer Neighbourhood teams covering Ponders End and Jubilee wards, who will be talking about the work they do and demonstrating some of their working practices, accompanied by dogs, horses and even a police helicopter.
First hand information from the London Fire Brigade, including free fire alarms, and the London Ambulance service, will be available and local councillors will be on hand to hear your concerns.
The park is off Galliard Road in Edmonton.
