A 34-YEAR-OLD man appeared in court on Friday after a fight in Enfield Town last week.
Police were called to the Taps Public House in Silver Street on July 3 at 3.40pm to reports of an altercation involving a man armed with a knife.
Alan John D`Arcy, of Enfield, was arrested following a police chase and appeared at Enfield Magistrates Court on Friday charged under the Public Order Act and with possession of a bladed article.
A witness said that the car park opposite Enfield Town train station had been cordoned off that afternoon and police were awaiting a dog unit for further tests at the scene.
It is not known who else was involved.
