THE LION King arrived in Bush Hill Park last Friday after children who were inspired by the West End Show did their own version for Enfield residents.
Children from Years 5 and 6 at Bush Hill Park Primary School’s drama club held a cake sale in March to raise funds, for the West End trip.
Last Friday they put on their own show, complete with authentic costumes and scenery.
This is not the first production by the drama club, which has also performed Oliver!, Mary Poppins, Grease and Cats, as well as writing and performing their own shows.
This production saw months of rehearsing after school, at lunchtimes and some Saturdays.
