AN 88-YEAR-OLD woman died after she was hit by a lorry when crossing Church Street on Friday.
The collision, between the woman, who was pushing a shopping trolley, and a Costa Coffee lorry, happened at about 12.30pm in Church Street, Enfield, near to Pearsons department store.
The woman was taken to the Royal London Hospital by air ambulance, but died on Sunday from injuries to her legs and pelvis.
Her next of kin have been informed, but she has not been formally identified.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place in Hornsey on Wednesday.
A witness reported seeing the shopping trolley underneath the driver's cab.
