A MAN was arrested after a police chase in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The 23-year-old was spotted by CCTV operators at around 3.20am in a car that was stolen four days earlier.
Enfield police, backed up by an air support unit and a dog unit, stopped the car, but the suspect fled, jumping over a brick wall, before he was caught and arrested.
The owner of the vehicle has been informed that the car has been recovered.
Police have not revealed the location of the arrest to avoid alerting criminals to the presence of CCTV cameras.
The suspect has been charged with taking a motor vehicle without consent and will appear at Enfield Magistrates Court on August 4.
