A TEENAGER was stabbed five times in broad daylight after refusing to hand over his belongings to a teen gang.
The 18-year-old was knifed in the buttocks, chest and arm, at 1.30pm on Wednesday in St Alphege Road, Lower Edmonton.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested but detectives are still interested in interviewing five other teenagers.
They are described as black, aged between 15 and 19 and around 5ft 9ins tall.
The victim remembered one man was wearing a grey hooded top, while a second man wore a black top.
DC Andy Cuthbert from Edmonton CID said: "This was a nasty assault and the victim at present is still in hospital recieving treatment.
"We appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time or has any knowlege of this incident to come forward to help us with our enquiries."
