PEOPLE living in Bowes Ward had the chance to tell the police where they think officers should focus their energy this week.
The Bowes Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) is held a public consultation on Tuesday.
Residents told the team what their concerns were and voted on priorities.
The team is now collating the results and will be able to reveal the final priorities consulting with young people at a youth panel meeting on Monday.
All the SNTs decide on where to use their resources based on local community concerns.
