Enfield's soul sensation Andy Abraham has successfully made it through to this weekend's X-Factor final.

Former binman Andy, 41, survived a public vote on last Saturday's show to set up a tense week for wife Denise and their two young children, Tara, ten, and Jacob, eight.

The family filmed a welcome home party for the ITV talent show this week at their Baker Street house and Denise, 39, admits there is part of her which will be relieved when the marathon competition finishes.

"We have enjoyed the experience but we all miss him so much. It's been a bit overwhelming this past week and we can't wait to have him home," she said.

Last Saturday's show saw the exit of diva Brenda Edwards leaving Andy to a face off with Mancunian hunk Shayne Ward and Teeside duo Journey South.

The finalists sing three numbers each before the public has its say and the Independent can reveal Andy will be reprising his version of Billy Paul's Me and Mrs Jones which wowed the judges earlier in the series.

If support in Enfield is anything to go by then Andy should be a certainty for victory with Denise feeling quietly confident having been inundated with messages of support.

"He's become massive in Enfield and people have been beeping their horns and shouting support from their cars. I think Andy's a big hit with the public and he's got a lot of support out there. He's definitely capable of winning, but of course it depends on the public vote."
