I would like to thank all the people who came to my aid on Saturday, November 26.
Unfortunately, I slipped while making my way along Windmill Hill and sustained extensive facial injuries when I struck my forehead on the kerb.
Complete strangers who just happened to be passing were absolutely marvellous. They phoned for an ambulance, gave me something to drink and covered me to keep me warm. I cannot thank them enough for all their help.
The ambulance crew who arrived within a very short time, were also splendid and helpful and I was treated without delay at Chase Farm Hospital. Luckily for me, the emergency services did not have to come all the way from Barnet Hospital.
