CITIZEN salt bags are available for Enfield residents to use on pavements in time for snow predicted for the area this weekend.
Enfield Council has chosen the locations of the one tonne salt bags at sites close to hills and steep inclines.
The Met Office has predicted light snow for the London area on Saturday.
Councillor Chris Bond (Labour, Southbury) said: “We thought these one tonne bags would help some residents in areas where there are steep hills to do their bit with grit and possibly help out an elderly neighbour.”
