Lizzie Beach-McGeagh died in June this year after being hit by a car
A DRIVER accused of killing a student in a hit-and-run incident in East Barnet in the summer is to face the Crown Court over the accusations.
Aryeris Angelis, 26, of Tewkesbury Terrace, New Southgate, appeared at Hendon Magistrates Court yesterday morning accused of killing Lizzy Beach-MacGeagh, 20, on the evening of June 16.
The Bristol University student was out for a run when she was hit by a car which did not stop to help her. She died the next day in hospital of head injuries.
Mr Angelis was granted bail and told to appear for a hearing at Wood Green Crown Court on January 5.
