TWO teenagers braved the wind and snow to win Edmonton Green's 2010 version of the X factor.
Cameron Sanderson, 13, and Tiffani Singh-Brown, 16, were crowned champions of the Xmas Factor, a talent show which had run through December at Edmonton Green Shopping Centre.
Twelve hopeful finalists performed despite bad weather conditions on Saturday, December 18, with Cameron and Tiffani winning top prizes of £500 and £75 Peacocks shopping vouchers.
Cameron, from Enfield, who sang Just The Way You Are, said afterwards: “It was a very nice competition day because of the snow. When my name was read out I whooped.”
Roger Allen, manager of Edmonton Green Shopping Centre said: “This has been a truly outstanding event. The whole community has come together to celebrate some local musical talent and despite the snow, everyone had a great day.”
