A MAJOR road between Edmonton and Ponders End has been closed both ways following a serious accident this morning.
Meridian Way, between Lea Valley Road and Picketts Lock Lane, has been sealed off by police following the incident.
Motorists are advised to take alternative routes and the W8 bus is not travelling further than Edmonton Green.
