THREE teenage boys questioned this week over the murder of Negus McClean have been released on bail.

Two 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old were arrested on Tuesday on suspicion murdering the 15-year-old Edmonton County pupil on April 10.

Negus was stabbed through the heart in Westminster Road after he was chased by a gang of up to 13 hooded teenagers on mountain bikes.

The latest arrests mean 12 people have now been arrested in connection with the killing, which happened at around 7.25pm on the Sunday evening.

Police continue to appeal for anyone with information which will help them catch and convict the killers to call 0208 345 3775 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

All those arrested, including the latest three, have been bailed until mid-June as the investigation continues.
