AN Enfield volunteer is joining 14 others in a sponsored skydive today to raise money for a children's hospice.
Bhavna Tailor is jumping from a plane over RAF Bicester, in Oxfordshire, in a bid to gather donations for the Noah's Ark Children's Hospice.
The charity aims to build a centre in Beauchamp Court, Barnet, to cater for 350 terminally ill children and their families from Enfield, Barnet, Camden, Haringey and Islington.
Ms Tailor said: “It's a great cause and the support they give children is really worthwhile.
“It means so much more that the children and their families are local people and every penny goes directly to them.
“I did a bungee jump last year, and that still haunts me, so I must admit I'm a little nervous about the skydive and just want to get it over with.”
The recruitment consultant is trying to raise more than £400 for her efforts – to make a donation click here.
