A YOUTH theatre company in Southgate is among the recipients of £32m of arts funds from the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation.
The money comes from last year's sale of The Absinthe Drinker by Pablo Picasso, and was today announced will be handed to art and culture organisations across the UK.
Among them is Chickenshed, an inclusive theatre group whose ethos is that society should work together regardless of ability and disability.
Trustees of the foundation are said to be “extremely impressed” with the theatre group, anad have given the funds to help students going through their Chickenshed BTEC National Diploma in Performance.
