A MENTAL health charity relaunched its store in Southgate this weekend with support from local politicians.
David Burrowes, MP for Enfield Southgate, joined Southgate councillor Robert Hayward in cutting the ribbon to open the refurbished Mind store in Chase Side on Saturday afternoon.
Regional manager Gordon Balfour said: “It went really well and it was great to have David and Robert's support.
“One in six workers suffer from stress or depression and our charity is all about raising awareness of that and helping people.
“It's a brilliant new shop and judging by the comments on Saturday most people didn't believe it was a charity shop.”
