A FIRE tore through a house in Edmonton on Monday afternoon, also damaging properties next door.
Around 20 firefighters tackled the blaze in Edward Close at 1.30pm, which took more than an hour to bring under control.
Most of the house's conservatory, ground and first floors and part of the roof was destroyed – while flames also damaged the first floors of neighbouring houses.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
