THREE sisters who had babies within five weeks of each other have described the experience as “amazing”.
Ellena Andreou, 35, Irene Healiss, 33, and Natalie Sieberichs, 25, who grew up on Green Dragon Lane, found out they were all due to have a baby at the end of last summer.
Natalie, who said they did not plan the pregnancies to happen together, gave birth to Gabriella on March 19, while Ellena had baby Anassa on April 5 – Irene completed the trio with Thomas on April 25.
Ellena, who works as a teacher, said: “We were all absolutely amazed when we found out – it means so much to us that the children are going to grow up together.
“It's been a little crazy on a Sunday bring all these babies to our mom's house for dinner but it's exciting.
“The three of us tried to go shopping in Enfield last week and we only managed to get into two shops in between changing nappies and feeding them.”
The three children will all go to separate schools as Irene now lives in Epping where she works as a police officer, while Natalie works as an account manager in Hatfield.
Natalie added: “It would have been amazing for them all to go to the same school – but we're all really close so we see each other all the time anyway.
“I can't imagine what life was like before they were born.”
