I was saddened to read of the closure of the Victim Support Centre in Enfield (‘Supporting victims in spite of the cuts’, Enfield Independent, May 18).
As a victim of a violent crime myself, I know just how hard it is to try to come to terms with life after the incident. I am still struggling and it doesn’t get any easier, let me tell you.
There should be a lot more help out there for us victims of crime as we try to rebuild our lives.
So I urge the powers that be to get behind us and give us the help that we need and deserve, please.
