ARCHERS, cannon fire, and courtiers filled the grounds of Forty Hall this weekend for a two-day Jacobean pageant.
People came from all around to join in the festivities, experiencing craft displays, mock-fighting and re-enactments from the English Civil War.
The pageant drew crowds in over two days, on Saturday and Sunday, as part of the Enfield Festival of culture, arts, history, and entertainment.
It was organised by Enfield Council, in the grounds of a landmark which has its origins in the 1620s just after the reign of King James I.
