A PALMERS Green burglar has been sent to jail after pleading guilty to stealing more than £18,000 of beauty products.
Sezar Yildiz, 49, of Russell Road, broke into a warehouse in Green Lanes in October last year and took the goods – but crucially left a torch at the scene.
Officers from Enfield's Burglary Squad found that the DNA on the torch linked Yildiz to the break-in, and arrested him on November 2.
He was sentenced to 12 months in prison at Wood Green Crown Court on Monday.
