The wheelie bins issue is a disgrace. No one has been asked if they want them — well, I haven’t — and as a reader wrote in last week’s paper (“Where is the space for bins?”, Opinion, June 8), where can you put them?
Three will have to go across our small bay window, a lovely smelly sight, and do we now have to buy three pedal bins for the kitchen or do we go through the kitchen bin when full — taking everything out and to the front and picking everything out for its relevant bin?
A lovely task that would be. A scavenger’s job, surely? What a joke.
