I came out of Trent Park with my two daughters who were taking part in the Race For Life Cancer fundraising event and was amazed to find traffic wardens had managed to raise more revenue in three hours than many people had managed in a year of cajoling friends and family for funds.
Row upon row of cars with Race for Life paraphernalia in their cars had been ticketed. Charity indeed. I am lost for any more words.
