TRAIN services have been delayed or cancelled today due to heat on overhead power cables.
National Express East Anglia has apologised to customers after severe disruption today on its lines out of London, including services to Enfield Town, due to the hot weather.
However, the firm has promised a full evening service despite the problems with its aging lines system.
The affected cables are due to be replaced as part of a major upgrade programme.
Passengers are being strongly advised to check the situation before travelling, and consider alternate routes to make their journeys.
