TRAIN services through Enfield have suffered severe delays due to a lighting strike on the line.
First Capital Connect services heading north from Kings Cross were affected after a strike in the Welwyn Garden City and Hertford North area at around 1pm.
Some services were suffering delays of more than an hour-and-a-half, and passengers told to consider other routes.
It is not yet known when the services will be returned to normal, but tickets can be used on National Express East Anglia trains.
The problems come a day after National Express was forced into a reduced service, after its overhead power cables overheated.
