CAMPAIGNERS against cuts to public services in Enfield are holding a protest meeting next week.
The Enfield Alliance Against the Cuts have organised the public rally at Enfield Civic Centre, with a host of guest speakers discussing NHS reform, public pension cuts, and protecting public services.
The alliance formed in January this year, and says it has gathered more than 11,000 members in its campaign against swingeing cuts nationally and locally.
Former UCU Union general secretary Paul Mackney, Larry Elliott from The Guardian, Claire Solomons, president of ULU Student Leader, and Christina McAnea, Unison's national secretary for health, have all been lined up to speak.
The meeting is taking place on Tuesday, July 12, starting at 7.30pm.
