A BOY of 11 is the youngest person so far arrested by police investigating the London riots.
The youngster has been charged with burglary and is one of 215 arrests made by police since the beginning of the riots in Tottenham on Saturday night.
The arrest figure includes 62 arrests made overnight on Saturday, and 153 overnight on Sunday and throughout this morning. Those arrested are being held at police stations across London.
The oldest person arrested is a 46-year-old man. He was arrested for burglary and has been bailed.
Twenty-seven people have been charged so far. 136 people are still in custody.
