ENFIELD residents have formed a new group to support struggling traders and residents fearful of more rioting.
Members of Enfield Community Safety Network have been out on the streets today advising traders to stay open in an effort to stop the area looking like a ghost town.
Metin Ali said: “What we are doing today is trying to make sure we keep everyone as well informed as possible.
“I think everyone’s concern is what’s been happening in our town and move back to a degree of normality. They are not going to drive us out of our town.
"It's all about making sure that the looters and rioters are aware that the community wants to take claim back its streets and its town."
