A PEACE vigil will be held this evening in the road where a man was stabbed to death and a teenager hospitalised within a week of each other.
The Nelson Williams Foundation has organised the event to show solidarity to the community rocked first by the killing of 21-year-old Steven Grisales and then by the attack on a 15-year-old boy.
Hazel Nelson Williams, the mother of seven who started the foundation, said: “I don't know what the answer is to this sickness devouring our communities, but I know if it was an infectious disease, something would have been done about it already.
“We know it is time for all families to stand together, shoulder to shoulder & say enough is enough.”
The event, to bring the community together, is due to start at 6pm.
