Tottenham academy player Kenneth McEvoy has been awarded a place in the Republic of Ireland Under 19 squad to face Czech Republic.
The 19-year-old has shrugged off injury to be available for selection to the delight of Republic of Ireland manager, Paul Doolin.
Doolin told the Irish FA's website: “I’m very happy to have quite a few players fit again...Kenny McEvoy returns from a groin problem – he’s exciting and quick.”
The forward has enjoyed a successful career in the Tottenham academy since joining in July 2011. He was the second highest scorer for the Under-18 side last season with eight goals in 22 matches.
The Republic of Ireland will play the Czechs twice in three days as the men in green look to improve on their impressive UEFA Championship qualifying campaign.
