Peter Lazarus' unbeaten half-century eased Enfield to an eight-wicket win at Shepherds Bush in the Middlesex County Division Two on Saturday.
The hosts could only put up a meagre target of 90 and would have scored significantly less had it not been for Dominic Harris (24) and Ian McGowan (16).
Openers Sam Dishon and Jon Whealing were both dismissed for six before Harris and McGowan's brief show of resistance.
Leo Smith excelled with the ball, taking seven for 31 and claiming seven maidens in 18.2 overs.
Shepherds Bush might have thought their luck was in when Enfield opener Jack Plumb (0) was caught by Dan Davies off the bowling of Ed Morse for a duck.
Joe Naughton (18) and Lazarus (51) put on the majority of the runs as the away side reached 92 after just 17.4 overs.
Elsewhere in Division Two, Winchmore Hill slipped back towards the relegation zone after a three-wicket loss at Indian Gymkhana.
Batting first, visitors Winchmore put up 155 before being removed. The Indian reply of 157 was achieved inside 38 overs with three wickets intact.
In Division One of the Saracens Hertfordshire League, Holtwhites Trinibis narrowly won by two wickets at Kings Langley.
Put into bat first, hosts Kings made a competitive 232 for seven. In response, Holtwhites reached a winning total of 234 but lost eight wickets on route.
North Enfield went down by 14 runs at North Mymms Seconds in Division Three.
The hosts set a target of 131 before being removed and Enfield could only muster 117 as they succumbed to defeat.
Northampton Exiles drew at home to Dunstable Town after failing to remove their visitors.
A total of 227 for six had the Exiles in a strong position but Dunstable were able to cling onto their final wicket, closing on 175 for nine.
