A DOMINANT display from Omonia U12s saw them lift the Challenge Cup for the second successive season.

Omonia and opponents London Maccabi Lions were forced to play extra-time before a late goal ensured that the silverware remained with the Greens.

Several hundred spectators watched the 1-0 win.

The breakthrough eventually came in the second period of added time when Andreas Komodikis beat Lions’ keeper Jonny Hircshowitz to a loose ball and prodded home.
