CREWS Hill Golf Club's Ross Dickson finished a superb tied eighth at the South of England Schools Championship in Oxfordshire.
A total of 72 players took part, with the top ten qualifying for the National Schools final at Fulwell Golf Club, Middlesex.
Ross shot rounds of 70 and 74 for a two over par total of 144.
He will now also represent England Schools against Scotland at the Westerwood Golf Club in Cumbernauld, near Glasgow, in September.
Meanwhile, one of the club's junior girls, Charlotte Porter, won the Middlesex Ladies County Golf Association Easter Stableford competition held at Bush Hill Golf Club.
Bush Hill GC has a very active junior section with over 40 players. The juniors play numerous club competitions throughout the year and are also active in the Friern League junior section, playing inter-club matches with other Middlesex-based clubs. For more information call 020 8363 6674.
