It was a good weekend for the McCarthy family.
Husband and wife Brian and Vickie won Trent Park Running Club's annual aquathlon in the grounds of Middlesex University on Saturday.
Almost 100 competitors competed over four different distances in the multi-discipline event.
Brian and Vickie won the men's and women's sprint, which consisted of a 400-yard swim and 5km run.
Meanwhile, Adrian Day and Katie Balmer won the novice race that consisted of a 200-yard swim and 5km run.
The U12 competition was won by Luke Callis and Katie Brown, while the U16 competition saw Adam Bowman and Charlie Bromfield triumphing.
