Enfield Town FC and Enfield FC enjoyed contrasting fortunes in the latest round of pre-season games, with the league season just over two weeks away.
With both teams hoping to get out of the Southern League Division One East this season, each side has been stepping up its preparations and fitness with a series of warm-up games.
Enfield Town hosted Harrow Borough on Saturday (see inside for match details), with boss Jim Chandler running his eye over a number of trialists.
Despite fielding two completely different teams in each half, Town had too much for Harrow, edging out the visitors 2-0. Town were due to travel to Thurrock last night.
Town's rivals, Enfield FC toured East Anglia on the weekend. On Saturday they lost 2-1 at Lowestoft Town (see inside) and on Sunday lost by the same score at Norwich United, Jeff Hammond scoring for the Es.
