Saracens Herts League
In Division Three, Southgate Adelaide's game at home to Stevenage IIs was abandoned after the English summer weather intervened. Under the circumstances, it may have done Adelaide a favour: the visitors, well below Adelaide in the league table, were on 228-4 after 48 overs.
Cockfosters travelled to Hoddesdon IIs and had to settle for a draw. Cockfosters reached 201-4 after 46 overs; in reply Hoddesdon recorded 118-6 after 38 overs.
The result leaves both teams firmly in mid-table.
Struggling Botany Bay had a torrid time away at Clarendon. Bay were all out for just 77. It took Clarendon 17 overs and the loss of only one wicket to reach 78.
In Division Four, North Enfield's game at home to Chipperfield was abandoned because of rain. Northampton Exiles, flirting with relegation, grabbed an unlikely draw at leaders Waltham X Rosedale.
