The Middlesex Indoor T&F Championships at Eton yielded a rich harvest of ten gold medals for Enfield & Haringey AC.
Matt Walker took his first senior championship in the senior men's 60m, dipping through the electronic timing beam in 6.97sec. Jermaine Coddrington grabbed the bronze in 7.29sec.
Long-jumper Tomide Isinkaye was second in his speciality with his best effort of 6.42m.
Fourth in the long jump (5.67m), Leon Tavenier was also second in the high jump (1.70m) and second in the shot (11.04m). In a busy afternoon, Tavenier also found time to record 7.82sec in the heats of the 60m, where Isinkaye ran 7.30sec.
The men's U20 60m saw an E&H whitewash. Luke Fagan claimed the title with a 6.98sec run, followed over the line by David Telfer (7.13sec) and Andre Laidley (7.37sec). Rachel Telfer went one better than her brother David and won the women's U20 60m title in 8.13sec.
The women's U17 age group competition was also dominated by the red and yellow vests of E&H. Torema Dorsett flew down the straight to outdip club colleague Phillippa Tappin for the 60m title.
Sarah Gibson went home with three gold medals, winning the 60m hurdles (9.87sec), the long jump (4.31m) and the high jump (1.45m), thus denying Charlotte O'Neill the ultimate honour in two of these events. Charlotte's second-place performances were in the high jump (1.40m) and long jump (4.23m).
There were also good performances from some of the younger club athletes, including Jo Dorsett, who won two gold medals.
