The in-form Steve Kessack helped Cockfosters to a 3-1 win at home to Winslow United in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division on Saturday.
Kessack, who hit a hat-trick the previous week, grabbed a brace, with Jon Moniatis also finding the net for the hosts.
Meanwhile, Brimsdown Rovers gained a 0-0 draw at New Bradwell St Peter.
Brimsdown Rovers and Cockfosters meet at Goldsdown Road on Tuesday. The pair then have home games on New Year's Eve. Rovers host Arlesey Athletic, while the Reds entertain Sun Postal.
