Great Wakering Rovers 6
Enfield FC 1
Southern League Division One East
Enfield FC were hit for six as they put in a dreadful performance in Essex on Saturday.
The hosts were ahead on 12 minutes after Dave Greenwood conceded a penalty, and it just got worse. By the interval, the Es were three down and had barely had an attack.
However, there was some brief hope when Lee Allinson slipped the ball home after a fine run on 58 minutes. The same player then had a chance to pull another back, but scuffed his shot.
Rovers soon restored normal business and struck the woodwork twice before adding three in the final 12 minutes as the Enfield defence failed.
