ENFIELD IGNATIANS are in a state of limbo as the line-up of London Two North East for next season has yet to be finalised.
The impasse is a result of one of the clubs in the four London Two leagues not wanting to switch to another division.
This has been confirmed by a Rugby Football Union (RFU) statement which said: “The level transfer issues at level seven look to be heading towards an RFU appeal so there is no predicted date for the London League Two fixtures, nor any early prospect of them.”
Meanwhile, Ignatians’ promoted Under-16s will again lock horns with the winners of Division Four next season, Old Albanians B, as well as the third and fourth sides in that league, Tabard and Datchworth.
Ignations can also look forward to a local derby with Finchley in Herts-Middlesex Division Three in addition to fixtures with Twickenham and Welwyn.
