British super middleweight champion Charlie Leathers has earned a world title shot after destroying his latest opponent.
The 23-year-old, who trains at Muscle Limit Gym in Enfield, extended his unbeaten record after knocking out welterweight champion Terry Wright in just 62 seconds of the first round. Leathers has won all nine of his fights with five KOs.
His reward is an IBA (Independent Boxing Association) world title shot against Paul Braddock on Friday, September 9.
