Enfield Ignatians are calling on players of all ages and levels to try out for the club.
Two hotline numbers have been set up for those with a desire to join either the senior or junior sides.
The Middlesex club runs four senior sides. The first team spent seven successive seasons in both the London North West/North East divisions, but at London Two level, the Ignatians' target is to get promoted to London One level.
The team are set to face Old Streetonians, Hampstead and Canvey Island in their first three fixtures next season and will look to make a positive start in their quest for promotion.
The second, third and fourth teams compete in Herts-Middlesex Merit Tables One, Two and Four respectively, and coach Emile Hertz is looking for new recruits for all four senior sides.
He said: “For some reasons we are well catered for as regards props, hookers and centres. But the rest [of the positions] we can all do with – any new players would be great.”
The minis and junior sections, which are developing rapidly, cater for most age groups from the Under-13 upwards, and any youngsters interested in playing are more than welcome.
Last season's Under-16s, who accomplished their goal of gaining promotion to Herts-Middlesex Division Three, will be looking for another strong season and the squad would be bolstered by any new players looking to join.
For the seniors, the recruitment hotline is 07432 118352, and for the minis/junior sections it is 07432 118351. Further information on the club can be found at enfieldignatiansrfc.co.uk.
