Edmonton based side Kulture Klub won a thrilling semi final in West London to book their place in the final of the Middlesex Junior County Cup last Saturday, beating Hillingdon Abbotts 3-2.
Olly Modeste’s early penalty kick opened the scoring for the visitors against Hillingdon, as they looked to progress from the final four.
The away side were then pegged back by Abbotts, but got themselves back on the front foot and managed to restore the lead just before half time, with Jordan Jackson netting his fifth goal of of the season.
Jackson notched again just after the break to take the game out of their hosts’ reach and that lead was enough to see them through, despite a late penalty for Hillingdon.
Kulture Kulb will go into the cup final in good spirits, as they remain unbeaten in 2021, and sit third in the Hertford and District League Premier Division.
The Middlesex Junior County Cup final will be played at Rectory Park in Northolt on Saturday June, 19 with Kulture Klub facing Springfield FC who beat Hayes & Hillingdon on penalties after a 2-2 draw.
